- Infrastructure Architect to support the implementation of the new Digital Transformation initiative,
- The Infrastructure Architect will perform infrastructure design and architecture to include network, servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, databases, and other components in SUNY's infrastructure with the intent to improve the IT infrastructure and optimize"business" operations as systems are implemented. The Enterprise architect will:
- Perform infrastructure design and architecture to include network, servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, databases, and other components in SUNY's infrastructure
- Document infrastructure design and infrastructure future state
- Perform technology and product evaluation and selection
- Work with Senior Project Manager on detailed project plan
- Perform system integration and collaborate with other architects to ensure infrastructure architecture and design aligns with SUNY's application and data plans
- Plan capacity requirements including existing and future
- Ensure compliance with SUNY cybersecurity requirements and policies
- Report to the CTO on status
- Measure, monitor, and continually improve system performance developing and implementing infrastructure architecture for Higher Education or Government projects.
