If you hold ASE and Ford certifications, that’s a plus, but we also welcome applicants with certifications from other manufacturers such as Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, GM, and more. The Ford STARS program allows for easy certification transfers.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently perform work specified on repair orders in accordance with dealership standards
  • Test-drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to ensure customers are informed of any additional service needed, providing time estimates for repairs
  • Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification preferred
  • Ford certification preferred
  • Prior experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
  • General B-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • Strong dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
  • Positive and friendly attitude, with a willingness to learn and improve
  • Team player able to collaborate effectively
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
