Our client is seeking a Risk Management Associate with a strong clinical background and an interest in healthcare risk management. This role is ideal for an experienced RN who has had some exposure to risk or quality initiatives and wants to grow their expertise in patient safety, compliance, and performance improvement. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Risk Management Associate's Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review and analyze incident and quality reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct investigative research and assist in root cause analyses for issues related to quality of care, legal, or ethical concerns.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to evaluate requests, review reports, and support the claims committee.
  • Work cross-departmentally to investigate claims and provide recommendations for process or performance improvements.
  • Support the development and delivery of continued education and training programs related to risk management and quality care.
Risk Management Associate's Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Active RN license.
  • Prior clinical experience as a Registered Nurse required; some exposure to risk management, quality, or patient safety preferred.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
