Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - Tallahassee, FL
Start Date: 8/20/2025
Assignment Length: 19 weeks (ends 1/3/2026)
Schedule: Days, 5x8s (includes weekends and holidays)

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for a 19-week travel assignment in Tallahassee, FL. This role involves working across acute care and inpatient rehab settings. The ideal candidate will be experienced, collaborative, and dedicated to delivering exceptional therapy services that support safe discharge and functional independence.

Requirements:

  • Active Florida PT license

  • Current BLS certification

  • EPIC EMR proficiency

  • Prior experience in acute care and inpatient rehab settings

  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat assigned patients under physician direction

  • Develop and modify individualized treatment plans using sound clinical reasoning

  • Lead and delegate discipline-specific therapy services

  • Document treatment, assessments, and patient progress clearly and timely

  • Coordinate discharge needs, patient/family education, and equipment planning

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment

  • Uphold professional ethics and comply with all regulatory requirements

  • Participate in student education, continuing education, and performance improvement initiatives
