As a PET Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a vital role in patient care by performing nuclear medicine procedures efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures and ensure quality checks are done accurately.
  • Order, prepare, and store radiopharmaceuticals; administer injections as authorized.
  • Work with physicians to adjust diagnostic study plans as necessary.
  • Review studies for quality and positioning, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Participate in decontamination procedures and maintain security in designated areas.
  • Assist with on-call duties and be flexible with scheduling to meet departmental needs.

Qualifications:

  • Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Must obtain Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT-N certification within 6 months of employment.
