PRN Care Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Care Coordinator, you will utilize your expert leadership skills to manage staff and coordinate patient care activities effectively. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and non-healthcare personnel, ensuring seamless patient care. In this role, you will also serve as a mentor and role model for all staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will report directly to a Nursing Director or Executive Director.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is essential, with current RN licensure.
- A BSN degree is required, along with national certification (e.g., CCRN, RNC, CEN, CNOR, OCN, ANCC, CAN, CPAN, CFRN) in relevant fields.
- A minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Completion of all American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider guidelines is mandatory.
- External applicants should have at least two (2) years of experience in a management role.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
- A current license from the Board of Nurse Examiners to practice as a registered nurse is required.
- Must possess a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
