Century Group is excited to partner with a world class manufacturing company to help them find a sharp, motivated Cost Analyst to join their team in Solano County The Cost Analyst will be responsible for analyzing costs incurred during the manufacturing process including material costs incurred and resources consumed.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $120,000 per year.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare journal entries as needed
  • Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Presents prepared estimates of costs for internal review and presents to leadership
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, evaluating, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintains cost database.
  • Work with Supply Chain to ensure accurate costs are reflected in ERP.
  • Work with outside vendors to quote components as needed.
  • Partner with engineers on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
Requirements
  • Two to five (2-5) years of costing accounting experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to understand complex manufacturing processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of variances.
  • Highly skilled in analytics and proficient with Advanced Excel functions.
