Experience: 2-3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is required; experience in a project-based manufacturing environment is a plus. Experience performing general ledger accounting and reconciliation following GAAP standards is required. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are required.

What You'll Do:

  • Complete accurate and timely GL account reconciliations
  • Prepare journal entries and support all components of the month-end close
  • Apply GAAP principles across reconciliations, journal entries, project accounting, and reporting
  • Support project-based accounting activities by assisting with job cost reviews, basic WIP tracking, and project-related variance analysis
  • Produce ad hoc financial reporting - customer profitability, cash flow, spend trends, project performance insights, and other data-driven analytics
  • Work within ERP systems and financial platforms in addition to Excel to support project financials and overall reporting
  • Identify and resolve accounting and reporting variances, including project-level discrepancies
  • Collaborate with the team to identify efficiency opportunities, including the use of AI and modern analytics tools
  • Assist with audit support and documentation
What You Bring:
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is required; experience in a project-based manufacturing environment is a plus but not required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Accounting or related field)
  • Experience supporting month-end close
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Experience producing ad hoc financial reporting and variance analysis is required
  • Experience working with and reporting out of ERP and other financial reporting systems is required
  • Strong Excel skills are required
  • Comfortable working in project-based or manufacturing environments (job costing, WIP, project billing, or similar exposure is a plus)
  • Must be comfortable using MS Office suite including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • High attention to detail and accuracy is required
  • Strong analytical mindset; able to troubleshoot complex financial variances
  • Ability to pivot and thrive in an environment where things shift quickly


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the wage range for this role is $55000 - $75000/yr. The rate range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Adaptec Solutions considers factors including, but not limited to experience and geographic location.
