Position Overview: As a Relief Route Delivery Driver, you will step in for delivery drivers who are unavailable due to various reasons such as vacation or illness. Routes may change daily, providing variety in your work. You will deliver products to various retailers, including convenience stores, supermarkets, and drug stores, under different weather conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the delivery vehicle to predetermined locations
  • Unloading and stocking products in store locations
  • Building displays and setting up promotional materials
  • Managing invoices and handling cash and charges

This role is ideal for those who thrive in a physical and fast-paced environment, requiring frequent lifting, bending, and maneuvering products weighing 20-45 pounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and promote products effectively
  • Ensure all scheduled customers are serviced by the end of shift
  • Merchandise accounts to maintain local standards
  • Adhere to DOT regulations
  • Foster positive relationships with store management
  • Maintain reliable attendance

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid U.S. CDL or CDL Permit with Non-Excepted Interstate Status
  • Ability to pass a drug test and physical capabilities assessment
  • Pass DOT physical and Road Test
  • Effective communication skills in English

Helpful Experience:

  • Experience driving trucks with a Valid U.S. CDL
  • Merchandising products effectively
  • Operating delivery equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks
