$34.00 - $51.25

Position Highlights

  • $15,000 Sign-On Bonus available with a 3-year commitment

A Brief Overview

As an Occupational Therapist, you will coordinate and deliver occupational therapy services focused on various health conditions. You will implement specialized treatment programs tailored to individual patient needs and aligned with department objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver age-specific care, demonstrating knowledge that spans from infants to geriatrics.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.
  • Utilize tailored activities to help patients achieve their health and rehabilitation goals.
  • Provide direct therapeutic services in functional settings designed to enhance patient recovery.
  • Plan therapy in accordance with individual patient capabilities and coordinate with the wider healthcare team.
  • Document all necessary evaluation results, treatment plans, and progress notes as required.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team about patient status and progress.
  • Build rapport with interdisciplinary team members, including families and physicians, throughout treatment.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through education, literature, and workshops, sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of departmental programs.

You must be able to work the required hours and perform all essential job functions, including having sufficient visual acuity, effective communication skills, and the ability to distinguish sounds. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice upon hire.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • 1-3 years of clinical patient care experience.
