Overview:
Looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong Snowflake expertise to build and optimize enterprise data solutions for Northern Trust's financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake data warehouses and Azure-based data pipelines.
  • Implement ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and integrate diverse data sources.
  • Optimize Snowflake queries, storage, and security for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Work with business teams to translate requirements into robust data models and solutions.
  • Ensure best practices for data governance, quality, and compliance.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years in data engineering with deep knowledge of Snowflake architecture, SQL, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on expertise in Azure services: Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS.
  • Strong programming skills in Python/Scala for transformations.
  • Financial services/banking domain experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and Agile delivery skills.
