Project Manager - Civil Site Development
Greenville, SC
A well-respected and growing civil engineering firm with a strong presence in the Southeast is seeking a talented Project Manager to join their team in Greenville, SC. This award-winning company offers diverse services, including civil, environmental, structural, and marine engineering; land surveying; land planning; landscape architecture; geographic information systems; and construction administration.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects for various clients in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
- Prepare proposals and develop project fees.
- Conduct site visits and meet with clients and consultants to support project needs and business development.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage engineering work and collaborate with other disciplines.
- Develop project scopes of work.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
- Supervise engineers and technicians.
- Track projects using accounting software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- 7+ years of experience in public and private project design, with a focus on site development.
- Proven experience in producing residential, commercial, and industrial design plans.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering project management, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D.
- Business development skills.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Understanding of business financial information.
