As a CDL-A Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting pre/post-trip inspections on your tractor-trailer and submitting DOT inspection reports.
  • Reviewing the bill of lading and ensuring the accuracy of store keys for off-hour deliveries.
  • Safely operating a tractor-trailer to various destinations while adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate driver logs in accordance with DOT regulations, including documenting delivery receipts and product conditions.
  • Unloading deliveries accurately at customer locations.
  • Performing any other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Must meet McLane's Motor Vehicle Record and risk rating qualifications.
  • The ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform job-related tasks and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
