Job Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to create comprehensive cost estimates.
- Source and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project budgets and provide updates on cost projections.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and project costs for future reference.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to the project team.
- Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and industry standards.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator should have:
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, methods, and materials.
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for estimating and project management.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients and project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Competitive salary range from $120,000 to $140,000 USD.
