Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for marine construction projects.
- Coordinate all phases of construction, including permitting, procurement, and subcontractor management.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and direct project teams, including field crews and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide regular progress updates and resolve issues promptly.
- Quality & Compliance:
- Monitor work to ensure adherence to specifications, codes, and Agate Construction standards.
- Implement best practices for marine construction and environmental stewardship.
- Financial Oversight:
- Track project costs, manage change orders, and ensure profitability.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marine or heavy civil construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of marine construction techniques, dredging, pile driving, and coastal infrastructure.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in challenging marine environments and travel to project sites as needed.
