Part-Time Certified Medical Assistant - Des Moines Clinic
We are seeking a Part-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team at our Des Moines Clinic. This position is scheduled Tuesday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, with some flexibility required to provide coverage on additional days as needed. No weekends or holidays.
Our Des Moines Clinic is expanding rapidly, and we're looking for a dedicated, adaptable CMA who is passionate about patient care and eager to grow with a compassionate, supportive team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in helping patients on their journey to better health, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in providing clinical support to our team of specialists. You will assist physicians and nursing staff with direct patient care and contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinical experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist in patient care and clinical procedures which include phlebotomy and various tests
Support physicians and nursing staff with various clinical tasks
Assist with front desk duties, including answering calls and facilitating check-ins/check-outs
Collaborate with a team to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality patient care
Duties may include supporting the front desk with phone calls and assisting with the check-in/check-out process.
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
Previous CMA and customer service experience preferred
Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care
Adaptability and willingness to contribute to the success of a growing practice
