Underwriter

We are seeking a seasoned Underwriter to join our team full-time at our Brooklyn office. This role requires a sharp eye for detail and a strong background in financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience reviewing and analyzing bank statements and financial statements, with a proven ability to assess risk and make sound lending decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze personal and business bank statements
- Evaluate financial statements and supporting documents to assess creditworthiness
- Identify risks and make informed underwriting decisions
- Communicate findings clearly and efficiently with internal teams
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and industry regulations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in underwriting or financial analysis
- Strong understanding of financial documents and cash flow analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
