We are looking for a Senior Technology Consulting Manager to join the EngX Transformation Consulting team.

OUR TEAM

We are a team of cross-functional experts driving large-scale modernization and transformation engagements across engineering organizations. We help our clients and internal teams improve how software is designed, built, and run-balancing engineering excellence, automation, and emerging AI-enabled delivery practices.

We are open-minded, innovative, and bold in our recommendations. This is a remote position. We are seeking candidates who are located in the Central or Mountain Time Zones.

Responsibilities

  • Help internal and external product engineering organizations improve cost, quality, and time-to-market by advancing engineering practices, automation, and AI-assisted capabilities

  • Lead engineering transformation engagements, including maturity assessments, roadmap definition, and adoption of modern SDLC and DevOps practices

  • Elicit relevant insights through interviews, surveys, and system data analysis, increasingly using analytics and AI tools to reveal hidden patterns and improvement opportunities

  • Ideate and socialize practical solutions through collaborative workshops with engineering and executive stakeholders

  • Tailor and deliver clear, outcome-focused messages for executives on how to execute change across people, process, and technology

  • Contribute to our consulting practice by designing new service offerings, improving methodologies, and embedding AI and automation insights into our frameworks where they provide measurable value

  • Conduct research within your domain expertise-engineering, operations, architecture, data, or product management-to inform future transformation approaches

  • Publish and present thought leadership within and beyond EPAM on engineering transformation and responsible use of AI in software delivery

  • Participate in pre-sales and sales activities: RFP responses, executive meetings, proposal preparation, and SOW development

Requirements

  • Possesses advanced graduate degree: master's degree, MBA, PhD, etc.

  • Has 7+ years of software industry experience in one of the following functions: Engineering, Infrastructure, Quality Assurance, Architecture, Data Science

  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and awareness of how AI-assisted development is reshaping engineering productivity and quality

  • Experienced with a range of software development methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban, SAFe) and able to tailor them to different organizational contexts

  • Fluent in modern engineering best practices-test-driven development, code review, continuous integration, trunk-based development, feature toggling, test automation, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD design

  • Practical experience leading executive-level workshops and articulating technical transformation in business terms

  • Data-driven strategist who grounds decisions in quantitative analysis and can use emerging analytics or AI tools to support insight generation

  • Experience in business development or pre-sales, including crafting proposals and presenting technological solutions to clients

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex engineering and AI concepts clearly to non-technical audiences

  • Strong collaborator and team player who enjoys mentoring others and shaping EPAM's evolving approach to intelligent engineering transformation
