TrustPoint Title, an Investors Title Insurance Company Managed Agency, is looking for an Escrow Officer to join our new team in Lansing. As an Escrow Officer, you'll coordinate all aspects of real estate closings, ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely transactions. If you have a strong understanding of settlement statements, closing disclosures, and document recording, this role may be a perfect fit for you

What You'll Do:

Closing Coordination and Document Recording

• Coordinate all aspects of closings to ensure smooth transactions.
• Prepare and review settlement statements and closing disclosures.
• Process loan packages received from lenders.
• Perform all post closing functions and ensure timely disbursement of funds, deposits, and checks.
• Coordinate document recording via mail, delivery, or electronic submission.
• Verify and process recording fees and checks payable to Clerk's Office.

Order Entry & Production Support

• Enter orders into the production system accurately and efficiently.
• Scan and upload all accompanying documentation into the system.
• Process requests for policy changes and corrections, including coverage amounts.
• Track progress updates and changes within the production system to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Business Development & Growth

• Work alongside the Agency Operations Manager to enhance profitability and efficiency.
• Collaborate on business development plans and strategies to increase referral networks.
• Monitor market trends to stay informed about key industry players and competitors.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate closings and settlement file processing.
• Strong understanding of Closing Disclosures and settlement processes.
• Experience with settlement production software (SoftPro is a plus).
• Ability to review, analyze, and process real estate transaction documents.
• Strong organizational and deadline-management skills.
