Job Summary:

The Compliance Business Analyst supports enterprise-wide compliance programs by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and sustainability of compliance-related data across multiple systems. This role maintains data integrity, reconciles regulatory requirement inventories, develops governance processes, and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure audit readiness and ongoing compliance with regulatory standards.

This is a local-only hybrid assignment requiring 3 days/week onsite in Oakland GO and 2 days remote. PPE will be provided if needed. Microsoft Teams will be used for meetings and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & System Integrity
  • Insert, validate, and maintain compliant, accurate records across enterprise systems.
  • Reconcile compliance requirement inventories across platforms including MetricStream, SAP, and cNet.
  • Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure data accuracy to maintain audit readiness.
Process Development & Sustainability
  • Develop and document workflows for compliance data governance.
  • Establish sustainable procedures for system updates, maintenance, and traceability of regulatory requirements.
  • Support long-term integrity and consistency of compliance inventories.
Compliance Reporting & Analytics
  • Analyze compliance data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights to support compliance strategy and operational decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Compliance Programs, IT, and Operational teams to ensure end-to-end alignment of data processes.
  • Provide data extracts, documentation, and support during audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Assist in driving enterprise compliance initiatives and alignment across business units.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a compliance-related role.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, audit, or regulatory functions.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Background in Finance.
  • Experience with SAP Work Management and Financial Programs.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
