Risk & Security Solutions Architect - ServiceNow

We are currently seeking a Risk & Security Solutions Architect - ServiceNow to contribute to our Digital Nexus technology organization in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Security to capture business requirements and devise scalable and secure solutions within the ServiceNow IRM and Security portfolios.
• Oversee the design and implementation of integrated risk and security solutions using ServiceNow, including IRM modules (Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, Vendor Risk), Security Operations (SecOps), Business Continuity (BCM), and custom security applications.
• Develop integrations between ServiceNow and external GRC platforms, security tools, data lakes, and enterprise systems, utilizing APIs, MID servers, and cloud integration tools like Mulesoft.
• Provide expert technical support to development teams throughout the lifecycle of risk and security solutions, including risk scoring models, automated control testing, and workflow design.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment of IRM and Security solutions with broader platform strategy and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, NIST, ISO); act as a key contact for complex issues, teaming up with ServiceNow support and internal teams to address critical technical challenges.
• Generate and uphold comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration standards, and governance models specific to IRM and Security implementations; stay informed on the ServiceNow platform roadmap, relevant risk frameworks, and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and responsibility to maintain KPMG's respectful workplace environment.

Qualifications:

• At least eight years of experience in ServiceNow solution architecture, with a minimum of three years focused on IRM, GRC, and Security Operations.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred; ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified Implementation Specialist-IRM are required; certifications such as CIS - Security Operations, CTA, or CMA are highly regarded.
• Extensive experience with designing and supporting ServiceNow modules such as Security Operations, Business Continuity (BCM), Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, and Vendor Risk.
• Strong comprehension of risk and security frameworks (COSO, COBIT, FAIR, NIST, ISO) and their relation to ServiceNow capabilities; proven experience supporting ServiceNow solutions from a development or administration standpoint, including upgrades and integrations.
• Familiarity with interconnected ServiceNow modules and core data structures across the platform.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to advocate for risk and security strategies through technological solutions.
