salary: $45,760 - $49,920 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 6 PM - 6 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

As a Feeder Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the feeder section of the printing press according to specific job instructions. We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn; This position also serves as a growth path, as you will be trained to step into the 2nd Pressman role when needed

  • Press Setup: Follow written job instructions to set up the feeder for various substrates.
  • Material Handling: Apply ink and coating to paper or other substrates as required
  • Operational Support: Assist with daily plant operations and operate various equipment throughout the pressroom and plant as needed.
  • Continuous Learning: Actively work to improve problem-solving skills and gain knowledge of press functions and maintenance procedures.
  • Physical Activity: Ability to perform medium-level work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and frequently carrying up to 25 pounds.
  • Skills: Basic math proficiency and the ability to pass a color blind test.
