Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Senior Project Manager for Design and Construction at UCHealth. You will play a crucial role in advancing our healthcare facilities by managing significant planning, design, and construction projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
As the Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead major capital projects exceeding $30M and guide project managers for successful project scope, schedule, and budget management.
  • Develop and implement strategies for competitive bidding and negotiate complex contracts with architecture, engineering, and construction firms.
  • Resolve complex project issues related to healthcare regulations, construction codes, and design changes, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Direct the design and construction process, including communication with senior executives and holding user and contractor meetings.
  • Apply critical thinking and decisive judgment while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field. Preferred: Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in planning, design, and construction. Preferred: 3 years in healthcare planning, design, and construction.
