Interact with engineers, clients, and technicians to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and
products to obtain a clear understanding of project requirements. Proficient in computer-assisted
engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Direct and coordinate
manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities
related to toxic gas monitoring equipment to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer
requirements. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and
installation standards and specifications. Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to
ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety
standards. Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical
theory to engineering projects. Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
Requirements
• B.S degree in Electrical Engineering
• California Registered Professional Engineer is a plus
• Must be well-organized, detail-oriented and able to work effectively on multiple projects in order to
support design efforts.
• Perform duties using sound judgment and solid engineering principles.
• Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively
communicate with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
• Possess strong computer skills utilizing MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project;
experience with Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD and/or REVIT a plus.
• Creativity, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are desired.
