KPMG is looking for a Senior Associate in IT Audit and Risk Management to embrace an active role in our Audit and Assurance practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise daily activities related to client projects, focusing on areas such as IT strategy and transformation, agile software development, business continuity, cybersecurity, and data governance. Assess IT controls and compliance requirements relevant to various frameworks.
  • Collaborate with client senior management to design and implement robust IT risk and control frameworks that address evolving threats.
  • Deliver comprehensive executive summaries and final reports to client leadership while ensuring meticulous documentation of engagement workpapers according to KPMG standards.
  • Contribute to the development of KPMG’s knowledge base and engage in internal practice initiatives, including research and creating marketing materials.

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of recent experience in IT risk management, cybersecurity, or internal audit within either an internal or professional services firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; certifications like CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC are preferred.
  • Preferred master’s degree and enterprise technology vendor certifications (IBM, Oracle, AWS, etc.).
  • Experience in leading consulting, IT audits, and risk engagements, with familiarity in frameworks like COBIT or NIST.
  • Knowledge of IT risk management models and maturity frameworks.
  • Understanding of enterprise technology infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and writing skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without needing employment-based visa sponsorship.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
