Your role and responsibilities:
Contributes to the implementation of continuous improvement strategies within various operational areas. Encourages a culture of ongoing learning and process enhancement. Collaborates with teams to support operational excellence and drive positive results. Participates in projects aimed at improving and sustaining business performance across different functions.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Deploy and align continuous improvement strategies at the local level, ensuring consistency with global objectives and organizational priorities.
- Facilitate improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to remove roadblocks and resolve conflicting priorities.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through training, awareness programs, and hands-on problem-solving, fostering behavioral change across all levels and functions.
- Monitor and report progress by tracking KPIs, benchmarking best practices, and maintaining toolkits to demonstrate value and support resource allocation decisions.
Qualifications for the role:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Preferred) OR Associate's degree with minimum 2 years experience in CI manufacturing processes, winding/connecting, assembly and material delivery.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, with attention to detail and accuracy including ability to read, interpret, and edit technical documents.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to create and deliver documentation and presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows OS; knowledge of BUS/SAP systems and project management preferred.
- Thorough understanding of electric motors and components; Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Flexible, self-motivated team player with multitasking ability and willingness to work varied hours in a demanding environment.
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
