Field Engineer

A nationally recognized heavy civil, geotechnical, tunneling, and mining contractor is seeking Entry-Level Field Engineers on up to support projects across the United States. This is a travel-based, hands-on role working directly with project teams and field crews.
Responsibilities:
- Support field operations using drawings and specifications
- Perform on-site QA/QC testing and sampling
- Assist with scheduling, materials, staffing, and subcontractor coordination
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and invoicing
- Support estimating with takeoffs, cost data, and proposals
- Maintain project documentation and materials
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and travel extensively
- Valid driver’s license; must pass background and screening
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel (B2W, CAD, MS Project a plus)
- Starting at $80,000+ DOE
