Routing Dispatcher – Join the Transportation Revolution with zTrip

Shift: Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday 7PM-5AM

Key Responsibilities of a Routing Dispatcher:
  • Dispatch and schedule transportation services for zTrip programs and clients
  • Serve as routing specialist for on-demand service
  • Monitor trips and routes, making real-time adjustments to ensure on-time performance
  • Confirm driver availability and coordinate with clients and internal teams
  • Respond to transportation incidents and update schedules accordingly
  • Answer incoming communications (calls, texts, emails, chat groups, radio) promptly and professionally
  • Handle passenger and client inquiries with courtesy and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate logs and service records
  • Collaborate with Road Supervisors and department managers
  • Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications of a Routing Dispatcher:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a dispatch or call center environment
  • Strong multitasking and decision-making skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), scheduling and CRM tools
  • Familiarity with call center software, map/navigation tools, and internet browsers
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience in roles such as dispatcher, customer service rep, rental clerk, or similar is a plus
  • Willingness to learn through hands-on training and team collaboration
