Join our dynamic team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Logistics Coordinator We are looking for a logistics professional to support our operations and ensure efficient management of inventory for our warehouse and data centers.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, processing inbound and outbound shipments, conducting cycle counts, and managing our Inventory Management System. You will oversee the transportation of parts using various vehicles, including sprinter vans and box trucks up to 26' in length. Candidates must be 21 years or older, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to obtain a Driver Qualification File (DQF) and a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if necessary. A DOT Med Card will also be required.

This role involves physical tasks including lifting, pushing, and pulling materials, and maintaining an organized and safe workspace. Ideal candidates will have experience in a warehouse or distribution setting, possess a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and maintain inventory, ensuring timely check-out of parts to our Data Center Technicians and Engineers.
  • Load and unload shipments, transporting parts and equipment between various locations.
  • Complete training for forklift operation and driving box trucks.
  • Handle sensitive and classified materials with care and integrity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all workspaces.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting loads of up to 40 pounds and participating in group lifts of heavier items.
  • Engaging in tasks that require frequent movement, coordination, and physical stamina.
  • Working in various environments including potentially noisy settings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • At least 1 year of logistics experience, ideally in a warehouse setting.
  • Experience driving box trucks up to 26' and operating forklifts or similar equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with a computerized Inventory Management System (IMS).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehousing practices.
