Agentic AI Lead

Job Description:

This role leads the company's AI vision and innovation, accountable for building and executing enterprise-wide AI strategies across the business in support of operational efficiency, process automation, data analytics, and market differentiation. The position is responsible for developing and scaling the AI program, collaborating with IT, security, compliance, and business development teams, and driving the adoption of state-of-the-art tools and methodologies.

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Developing and executing AI strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
• Build and lead an AI team, structuring roles as the program evolves, while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
• Leading operational change and process improvement efforts with measurable outcomes.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for process automation and advanced analytics to drive operational improvements.
• Establish program governance, ensuring the responsible, scalable, and compliant deployment of AI solutions.
• Oversee vendor selection, tool evaluation, and integration of AI platforms, with flexibility to adopt best-fit solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant U.S. regulatory frameworks, including NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, GDPR (as applicable to U.S.), CCPA, and industry best practices for AI compliance and security.?
• Partner with business development to articulate AI initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders when needed.
• Overseeing project lifecycle management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication.
• Building expertise across the enterprise in AI adoption, training, and best practices.
  

Required Skills/Abilities

• Demonstrated success leading programs or strategic initiatives involving advanced data, automation, or AI
• Open, adaptable mindset with experience evaluating and implementing best-in-class AI solutions across multiple platforms.
• Awareness of U.S.-centric regulatory frameworks and emerging best practices for AI risk management, security, and privacy compliance.
• Proven track record in operational change management and business process improvement.
• Experience managing technical project teams and collaborative initiatives across multiple functions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• U.S. citizenship required
  

Nice to Have Skills

• Background in regulatory compliance or security for AI initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of tools such as Python, R, Azure AI, AWS AI, Spark, and cloud data platforms.
• Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Azure AI Engineer, PMP).
• Familiarity with emerging agentic AI systems and autonomous workflow platforms.
  

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in IT or analytics project leadership, including 3+ years leading AI and advanced analytics initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or similar field required.
• Advanced degree (MS, MBA, or PhD) preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
