This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Description

The Surgical Technician is responsible for assisting in surgical procedures by preparing the operating environment, ensuring all necessary instruments are available, and maintaining patient safety. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist surgical teams in preparing for operations.
  • Maintain sterile environment and proper use of equipment.
  • Handle and organize surgical instruments and supplies.
  • Support during various surgical procedures including neuro, spine, total joint, gastric sleeves, major general surgery, ENT, pediatric, and urology.
  • Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Completion of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
