Senior Director Perioperative Services

The Senior Director Perioperative Services role is ideal for an experienced perioperative leader driven to elevate patient outcomes and team performance in a high-energy surgical environment.
The Senior Director Perioperative Services will join a Joint Commission-accredited acute care organization with physician-engaged governance and a strong safety culture. The Senior Director of Surgical Services will benefit from modern ORs, advanced technology, and recognition for quality and patient experience.
The Senior Director Perioperative Services reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and leads perioperative leaders across the OR, Pre-Op, PACU, Endoscopy, and Sterile Processing. The Senior Director of Surgical Services partners closely with anesthesia, surgical chiefs, materials management, infection prevention, quality, and finance.
The Senior Director Perioperative Services oversees a multi-specialty perioperative program supporting both elective and emergent cases in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. The Senior Director of Surgical Services guides a skilled team focused on on-time starts, efficient turnovers, and an excellent surgeon and patient experience.
The Senior Director Perioperative Services provides 24/7 operational leadership, advancing education, competencies, patient safety, and quality outcomes while ensuring compliance with Title 22, CMS, and The Joint Commission standards. The Senior Director Perioperative Services drives budgeting, staffing, productivity, block utilization, capital planning, and physician relations, and serves as a liaison among administration, physicians, patients, and teams.
