Temporary School LPN Needed - Up to $35/hr
Are you a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a school setting? We are seeking a compassionate and reliable LPN to provide essential healthcare support at one of our local high schools in Bellingham, MA. This short-term position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to contribute to a safe and healthy learning environment for students.
Join us for a rewarding assignment from December 15th to December 23rd, with potential for return in early January, as we support the health needs of students and staff during the winter season. Responsibilities include general nursing duties within the school's health office, ensuring students receive timely and compassionate care.
Required Skills:
- Valid Massachusetts LPN License
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in school health or pediatrics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with school-aged children
- First aid and CPR certification
- EMR/EHR familiarity
- Licensed Practical Nurse credential in Massachusetts
- At least 1 year of practical nursing experience with a focus on pediatrics or school health
- Must be able to work during school hours, 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM
- Flexibility for potential return dates (early January), depending on school needs
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Bellingham, MA
