Position: Senior Data and AI/ML Software Engineer
Location: Remote US
Compensation: $150K-$300K (adjusted for level & location) + 0.1%-0.5% equity
Years of Experience: 7+ years in AI/ML or full-stack software engineering
Visa: H1B transfers + potential new H1B sponsorship available

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve clinical information extractors, summarizers, and automation systems.
- Scrape, process, transform, query, and analyze both structured and unstructured clinical data.
- Assess system performance and enhance the clinical knowledge graph.
- Create secure and compliant code that adheres to HIPAA & SOC 2 standards.
- Contribute to core data/AI/ML pipelines and infrastructure.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain system uptime.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or full-stack software development.
- In-depth hands-on expertise in NLP/LLMs, data-intensive systems, and ML pipelines.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, PyTorch, GCP, FastAPI, Django, BigQuery, dbt, and Pandas.
- Experience with large and complex clinical/healthcare datasets is a plus.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Ability to work during Pacific Time core hours; U.S.-based applicants only.
