Hello,

My name is Corey, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Packaging Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Atlanta, GA. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Description:

  • Pay is $41.33/hr.
  • 12-month assignment with possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
  • Collaborate with Design Labs as part of the Operations practice, assisting clients in solving complex operational challenges with a focus on optimizing packaging strategies. This includes blending strategic thinking with hands-on practicality to develop and implement solutions that address critical business needs.
  • Work closely with clients and teams to take an integrative approach to product development and procurement, emphasizing packaging design that balances customer preferences, competitive offerings, and cost-effective manufacturing and distribution methods.
  • Leverage key tools, software, and personal expertise to deliver impactful results across multiple areas, including packaging optimization, complexity reduction, design for manufacturing/assembly, and commercial excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in packaging engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, or analogous technical degree GPA = 3.4+ Required
  • 2+ years of packaging design and manufacturing experience Preferred; Experience with plastics (rigid plastics and films) is strongly Preferred.
