The Inventory Specialist/Sr. Electrical Engineering Technician is the backbone of our electronics prototyping operations, ensuring that materials flow seamlessly from receipt to build. This role is responsible for managing all incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, overseeing kitting processes, operating automated storage systems, supporting X-ray verification, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues. You will also maintain our inventory software, perform cycle counts, and collaborate closely with engineering and production teams.
You'll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Receive incoming materials and verify against data sheets.
Inspect components for damage, correct part numbers, and quantities.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform scheduled cycle counts.
Handle moisture-sensitive components per MSL guidelines, including MSL bake process management: Managing ESD & MSL compliance programs across the facility.
Create and enforce handling standards for high-reliability components.
Create and maintain component data in our inventory system & component library.
Kit both through-hole and hand-assembly components for scheduled builds.
Manage automated storage systems software and hardware.
Assist technicians with machine changeovers and feeder loading.
Prepare finished assemblies for shipment and provide updates in internal ERP.
Provide support to special material requests from engineers.
Provide timely updates on material availability and resolve shortages proactively.
Use data from inventory system for trend analysis and forecasting
Training technicians and engineers in inventory best practices
What TOOLS you'll bring with you:
5+ years of experience in inventory management, electronics manufacturing, or related field.
Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and inventory control principles.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot automated storage systems and X-ray equipment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of electronic components and handling requirements.
Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:
Experience in electronics manufacturing or prototyping environments.
Knowledge of SMT and PTH components and packaging standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data analysis.
