We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Project Manager to join our team in Crystal Lake, Illinois. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and has hands-on experience managing multiple projects from estimating to delivery. Our company specializes in custom plastic fabrication, producing ventilation systems, tanks, pipe skids, fume scrubbers, ducting, pipe fabrication, and custom components for handling corrosive air and liquids.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, the ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, and a proven track record of managing projects efficiently. Candidates with an associate degree or higher in engineering are preferred, but equivalent experience in a technical or manufacturing field will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate quotes, estimates, and proposals for manufacturing projects
- Oversee all aspects of project execution, including engineering, purchasing, material control, quality, and installation
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor project performance, gather feedback, and implement improvements for future projects
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and customers
- Verify customer requirements prior to manufacturing and ensure proposed solutions meet expectations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or project management role preferred
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
- Experience with AutoCAD, Solid Works, or E-Drawings is a plus
- Highly self-motivated, energetic, and results-driven
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
- Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
