Hagerstown, MD: 20-25 hours/week (Part-Time) • Cumberland, MD: Under 10 hours/week

A Part-Time Role That Makes a Real Difference

Stepping Stones supports youth ages 8-21 with developmental disabilities through 1:1 in-home and community-based support. Whether you're looking for a steady part-time schedule (Hagerstown) or just a few hours a week (Cumberland), this role offers meaningful, flexible work.
What You'll Do
  • Provide 1:1 support for daily living & behavioral needs
  • Build communication and social skills
  • Promote independence at home and in the community
  • Follow individualized plans and document progress
  • Support positive and safe behavior strategies
You're a Strong Candidate If You:
  • Are 21+ with a HS diploma/GED
  • Hold a valid U.S. driver's license (2+ years, good record)
  • Have experience with developmental disabilities
  • Can lift 50 lbs and perform direct care tasks
  • Can attend New Hire Training (2 weeks + 2 days, Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:00)
  • Can pass background check, drug screen, and physical

Earn $1,500-$2,000 per certification level - up to $5,250 in your first year.
