About the Role:

As a CDL-A Truck Driver with Sysco, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer, delivering a variety of products—meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, and other supplies—along a designated route. Our drivers cultivate relationships with customers through their friendly attitudes and engagement with their operations.

Basic Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years old or older.
  • Submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Fluent in English—reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle touch freight, lifting an average of 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds as needed.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
  • Must be able to travel across state lines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of delivery experience.
  • 6 months experience using hand carts or hand trucks.
  • 6 months experience in food and beverage delivery.
  • A consistent work history of 2 years or more.
