Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN/Pool Occupational Therapist to join our acute care team. This role provides high-quality, patient-centered therapy services to individuals with a variety of medical conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical expertise, flexibility, and a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration.

Occupational Therapist Pool Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to support recovery and improve independence in activities of daily living.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehab professionals to ensure coordinated care.

  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning.

  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • OT (Occupational Therapy)

  • Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain

  • Required Bachelor's Occupational Therapy

  • Preferred 1-year Occupational Therapy
