Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Security Initiatives: Plan, coordinate, and implement innovative security solutions that protect our organization's most critical information.
  • Optimize Firewall/IPS Structures: Design and maintain optimized firewall and IPS rule structures, ensuring our security standards remain top tier.
  • Proactive Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor the health of all firewalls and IPS systems, proactively recommend improvements, and implement necessary upgrades.
  • Documentation & Schematics: Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation and complex network security schematics to ensure seamless operational continuity.
  • Explore New Technologies: Stay ahead of the curve by researching, testing, and implementing the latest in network security technologies.
  • Collaborate with Network Engineers: Provide support to our network engineers, offering your expert knowledge to help solve complex security challenges.
What You'll Bring:
  • Extensive IT Expertise: You have 7+ years of IT experience with a deep understanding of network security.
  • Hands-On Experience: You've worked extensively with Cisco FMC1000 (physical and VMware), Cisco ISE, and Cisco IPS products, from configuration to deployment.
  • VPN Expertise: Strong experience managing IPsec VPN and Site-to-Site VPN connections to Azure cloud.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance: You hold an active Top-Secret clearance, enabling you to work on sensitive, high-impact projects.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, but we value additional hands-on experience if you bring expertise without a formal degree.

Pay Rate / Range: $50.00-60.00 an hour
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions
