Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team in Dedham, MA. This is a 13-week assignment offering full-time hours with 8-hour shifts each day. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with clinical tasks, and supporting the medical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and prepare patients for examination.
  • Take and record patient vitals, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
  • Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
  • Perform routine lab tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
  • Ensure patient records are updated and accurate.
  • Provide patient education on medical procedures, treatments, and medications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
  • Handle patient scheduling, referrals, and billing as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
  • Proficient in using medical office equipment and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
