Director of Medical Affairs, Breast Oncology

This role is for a Director of Medical Affairs in the CDK4 program. As an individual contributor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clinical trials. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in clinical trials and development programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Development Leadership
- Collaborate with Clinical Scientists to provide scientific leadership across 2-3 study teams, ensuring alignment with our company objectives.
- Conduct essential medical monitoring activities including eligibility assessments, data reviews, and safety monitoring.
- Facilitate peer-to-peer interactions with investigators.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clinical issues involving study teams, investigators, ethics committees, steering committees, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead and contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical trial and regulatory documents, working closely with Clinical Scientists and cross-functional teams.
Strategic Guidance and Clinical Insights
- Work alongside Clinical Scientists to review and interpret clinical data, identifying key findings and communicating implications to stakeholders.
- Maintain a high level of clinical expertise by staying updated on the latest developments, literature, and guidelines to further our clinical development plans.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical degree and a minimum of 4 years of clinical experience
- Experience within the industry is preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Board certified/eligible in oncology or a related specialty
- Experience in Breast Oncology is preferred
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively, develop and mentor colleagues, and drive impactful outcomes.
Relocation support may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
Work Location Assignment: This is a hybrid role requiring on-site work an average of 2.5 days per week.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $226,300.00 to $377,100.00. In addition, participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan is available, with a bonus target of 25% of the base salary, along with eligibility for our long-term incentive program.
