Administrator - Home Health

We at E57 Partners are looking for professionals to be an Administrator for our client in the Home Health industry. This onsite role is located in our client's Lafayette, Louisiana office.
We are looking for a leader who can drive the operational, clinical, and financial performance of a growing home health organization. This role partners closely with senior leadership to enhance processes, strengthen patient outcomes, and support sustainable growth across service areas.
The right candidate will be a healthcare professional who is confident leading diverse teams, navigating regulatory requirements, and improving organizational performance. They are both strategic and hands-on, with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering compliant, efficient, and compassionate patient care.
Administrator
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in Louisiana, in good standing with the state Board of Nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Marketing from a National League for Nursing-accredited program; master's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in healthcare, including:
- At least three years of management experience within the last five years in home health or a related healthcare setting, with a minimum of one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity; OR
- Four years of experience as a registered nurse within the last five years in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or healthcare facility, including at least one year in a supervisory or administrative role.
- Three to five years of sales experience focused on healthcare or service-based offerings.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets state and organizational requirements.
- Solid understanding of business operations, home health regulatory guidelines, and accreditation standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a healthcare, business, or related discipline.
- Leadership experience overseeing multiple teams or branches in a home health or similar environment.
- Proven track record in developing growth strategies and improving service, quality, and financial performance outcomes.
- Experience mentoring leaders and building high-performing clinical and operational teams.
Essential Functions
Operational & Clinical Leadership
- Provide daily oversight and leadership for all home health operations within the assigned provider.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant patient care across clinical and administrative functions.
- Create and execute strategic growth plans for each market and hold teams accountable for meeting clinical, sales, and operational objectives.
- Guide and support Clinical Supervisors/Nursing Supervisors in managing clinical teams, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, and ensuring consistent service delivery.
- Oversee the full cycle of patient and caregiver care planning, including assessment, coordination, implementation, and evaluation.
- Assist with budgeting processes and monitor financial performance to ensure responsible and effective use of resources.
- Evaluate clinical, service, and financial metrics to identify trends, anticipate challenges, and implement improvements.
- Mentor leadership teams to ensure clinical staff maintain the required skills and competencies to deliver safe, effective patient care.
- Maintain an adaptive staffing structure for both administrative and clinical personnel based on census needs and organizational priorities.
- Review and evaluate service vendors and partners to ensure alignment with quality, patient experience, and financial expectations.
- Lead planning and execution of operational and clinical improvement initiatives or special projects.
Regulatory Compliance & Communication
- Stay current on changes in state, federal, and accreditation standards, implementing adjustments to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Remain informed on emerging clinical practices and industry developments relevant to home health services.
- Engage with community partners and participate in outreach efforts to educate stakeholders about available home health services.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support community awareness and referral growth.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong ability to lead, mentor, and support administrative and clinical personnel.
- Capability to participate in marketing initiatives and interact professionally with patients, families, and community partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods as needed.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
