Radiation Oncologist opening SW of New Haven, CT

Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team, providing comprehensive radiation oncology services at our Bridgeport and Fairfield locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, advancing clinical innovation, and supporting our mission to provide accessible, compassionate oncology services across the region. We are seeking a physician with a clinical interest or desire to specialize in gastrointestinal (GI) and lung cancers.
- Provide direct patient care in radiation oncology across both Bridgeport and Fairfield campuses.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team, including medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation therapists, physicists, and nurses to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Oversee simulation, contouring, treatment planning, and on-treatment management in accordance with institutional and national standards.
- Lead adaptive planning and daily re-optimization using Varian Ethos technology to enhance treatment precision and outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case conferences.
- Contribute to departmental quality assurance, safety initiatives, and process improvement activities.
- Engage in education, mentorship, and potential clinical research.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
