Job DescriptionOur independent, multi-specialty medical practice is seeking a full-time (.8-1.0 FTE) clinic based Pulmonologist to join an established pulmonology department as a sole specialistSleep medicine fellowship highly recommended/preferredFunction as the organizations Respiratory Rehabilitation directorProvide occasional support as a hospital consultantOpportunity to grow the practice with outreach opportunities to our critical access hospital, Prairie Ridge HealthcarePractice in a 6-year-old, $30 million dollar state-of-the-art medical clinic Qualified candidates must be Board-certified or Board-eligible in Pulmonary medicine.Candidates should also have excellent communication skills and the ability and desire to interact with medical center physicians, hospital administration, outpatient office physicians and staff, and respiratory therapy staff.Full spectrum of patient conditions including: asthma management, cystic fibrosis, emphysema, COPD, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep disordersRequired procedures:Bronchoscopy, Spirometry, Pulmonary Stress Tests, Sleep Studies, & Pulmonary Function TestsEMR Systems:EPICCompensation:Salary is guaranteed for 2 years of employment after a new provider joinsAbility to earn above guaranteed salary if provider exceeds production hours workedBenefits:Annual CME reimbursement & paid professional dues and membershipsRelocation reimbursementSign on bonus with assistance in residency10% annual employer contributions into 401K plan; fully vested to the employee at the time the employee is eligible to participate in the planCash balance plan & profit sharing planHealth, dental, vision, long term and short term disability insurance; malpractice coverage with tail6 weeks paid time off while on salary guaranteeAbout our Community:Fergus Falls is an area known for excellent private and public school systems community college, local wineries & breweries, low cost of living, nearby zoos, big box retail (Home Depot, Applebees, Caribou Coffee, Shopko, Walmart, and more), movie theater, bowling alley, event center, nearby resorts & casinos, health spas, YMCA, fishing, cross country skiing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, & biking.8-golf courses within a 30-mile radius of cityNumber 1 county in the United States with most lakes, with 1,100 lakes in Ottertail CountyCentral lakes biking/walking trail begins in Fergus Falls and is a 55 mile, paved trail that goes to central MNNorth Country Scenic Trail runs through the town (beginning in Vermont & runs through central ND)Within city limits, there are 5 lakes & 17 park & recreational areasEasy access to Fargo, ND (1 hour drive); and Minneapolis/St. Paul (2 hour drive)Childrens museum & indoor playgroundEnjoy a safe, low crime community of 14,000 residents
