Senior Oracle Fusion Financials Expert

Company Overview:
We're partnering with an innovative, high-growth Life Sciences company entering a pivotal phase of expansion through strategic acquisitions. As the business scales, finance leadership is focused on simplifying operations and maximizing the value of its Oracle Fusion platform. We're seeking a Senior Oracle Fusion Financials expert to serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO, Financial Controller, and VP of Finance, with a focus on optimizing Revenue Recognition and General Ledger operations for a more agile, acquisition-ready enterprise.

About the Role:
This is a highly visible, strategic role requiring a blend of deep Oracle Fusion expertise and finance domain knowledge. You will guide senior stakeholders through best practices, system enhancements, and process improvements-ensuring Fusion Financials is leveraged to support scalability, transparency, and compliance, especially across Revenue and GL operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Oracle Fusion Revenue Management and General Ledger modules.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to streamline revenue recognition and GL processes to support timely, accurate, and compliant reporting.
  • Lead post-implementation optimization efforts to align system capabilities with evolving business needs.
  • Guide integration and consolidation of financial processes as new entities are acquired.
  • Recommend and implement best practices in financial close, revenue automation, and reporting.
  • Translate complex business needs into system configurations and enhancements; lead functional testing and rollout.
  • Support change management and training across Finance and Accounting teams.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of finance systems experience, with multiple Oracle Fusion Financials implementations, especially in Revenue Recognition and GL.
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 and revenue process optimization.
  • CPA or accounting background strongly preferred.
  • Experience working closely with senior finance executives in high-growth or M&A-driven environments.
  • Life Sciences or regulated industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
