Job Description
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour
Hours per Shift: 10 hours

Experience: One (1) year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
License: Pending Nuclear Medicine license allowed
Certifications: Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine with either the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months of hire.
Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
Must pass a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class within 4 months of hire.

Must-Have: Capable of operating state-of-the-art Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras, probe and computer systems, film processors, survey meters, and other technical supportive devices.

Description:
Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Shift is 4 days x 10 hours, starting between 6:30 AM to 8:15 AM depending on shift.
Position includes rotating weekdays.
On-call responsibilities after department closes until it opens again.
On-call days are expected to be about 7 a month, though shifts are typically not very busy.
Bachelors or Associates degree preferred.
Pending Nuclear Medicine license with the relevant board is acceptable.
Epic charting experience is a hard requirement.
Documentation of all required certifications must be provided.
Travelers may float to affiliate hospitals in the vicinity.
Refusing to float may result in contract cancellation.
Modules for training are non-billable and must be completed pre-start and annually.
