$115K-$125K + Bonus (Quarterly)

Our client, a highly automated and established manufacturing operation, is seeking a Process Automation Engineer to support plant automation, production efficiency, and equipment performance across a continuous-run environment.
Requirements
- Experience with Allen-Bradley (required)
- Strong PLC/HMI controls skills - programming, troubleshooting, modifications
- Experience in industrial or heavy manufacturing environments
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automated Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to support on-call needs for plant operations
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control systems (hardware + software)
- Analyze and improve existing PLC/HMI logic to enhance productivity and uptime
- Support production and maintenance teams with real-time troubleshooting
- Integrate automation systems with plant information and monitoring systems
- Monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities across automated equipment
- Develop specifications, design documentation, and control architecture
- Lead and deliver automation projects from concept through completion
