Our client is a well-funded clean-technology firm that designs, builds, and operates turnkey EV-charging solutions for multifamily housing, commercial real estate, and municipal infrastructure. Backed by a track record of successful projects across the five boroughs, they are scaling rapidly and need a growth-minded leader to own the full go-to-market engine. As Head of EV Charging, you will shape strategy and execution across brand, partnerships, and revenue operations-transforming ambitious carbon-reduction goals into profitable, repeatable deployments.
What You Will Tackle
- Craft a compelling narrative that differentiates our urban charging network for property owners, developers, parking operators, and public agencies.
- Build targeted outreach motions for priority verticals, set clear milestones, and adjust tactics based on data.
- Source and structure alliances (utilities, OEMs, installers, finance partners) that consistently generate qualified site opportunities.
- Develop pitch decks, proposals, case studies, and other collateral that accelerate decision cycles and increase close rates.
- Own reporting on pipeline health, customer-acquisition cost, and conversion metrics, then drive weekly optimizations.
- Oversee a conversion-focused website experience, lead-capture flows, and content roadmap.
- Establish a steady cadence of proof points (installation spotlights, press releases, speaking engagements) to boost brand authority.
- Manage specialized agencies today, hire and mentor internal talent as demand scales.
- Unified messaging framework deployed across all materials.
- Updated proposal template aligned with current delivery capabilities.
- Two or more partner motions live and feeding the pipeline.
- Case-study pipeline underway with at least one public announcement scheduled.
- 7+ years driving growth, partnerships, or marketing in EV charging, clean energy, or related infrastructure.
- Proven record selling to real-estate stakeholders and/or public-sector entities.
- Deep understanding of the EV-charging value chain (site selection, incentives, interconnection).
- "Builder" mentality-you ship, measure, and iterate quickly.
- Exceptional communication skills-you translate technical nuance into clear business value.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and outside vendors.
